Marvellous Light Community Church is an "oasis of faith at a busy crossroad" within a neighborhood of constant change. The church is in a unique position to this ever evolving community as we continuously develop innovative ways to invite people to experience God's eternal and unchanging grace. Therefore, to satisfy the spiritual needs of the changing population served by the Marvellous Light Community Church, we, as a congregation, shall attract and inspire the neighborhood population to make Marvellous Light Community Church their spiritual home by: directing and involving the surrounding community, routinely communicating worship opportunities and other daily activities, and developing a climate of inclusion, welcoming everyone from all walks of life.
We will boldly serve the global and local communities as needs and opportunities arise (i.e. missionary support, conference needs, national and global disasters, and response to hunger). We shall be responsive to God's challenge to live out our faith seven days a week by: proclaiming salvation by accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior, worshiping steadfastly, offering earnestly our unique talents, teaching and learning God's message from scriptures, and engaging in the power of prayer and meditation. We will foster spiritual growth of individuals through reassurance, inspiration, and guidance so that all people can be vehicles of God's constant gift of love and forgiveness.

Mission Statement
There is one God; God the father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We will under the anointing of The Holy Spirit be obedient to the Great Commission to teach and promote Christianity. We will evangelize the lost and make Christ known through both verbal and righteous daily living. We will evangelize the lost and make Christ known through both verbal and righteous daily living. We will continue to develop ministries that demonstrate the love of God for humanity and that are relevant to the needs of all people. We as believers and Disciples of Christ will continue to magnify the Lord in worship, prayer, instruction, financial support and encouragement.
core values
We believe that the Bible is the only book ever written that was inspired of God in the sense that God personally guided the writers.
We believe in the unity of the divine Trinity- God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe the death of Christ is to be a redemption or ransom paid to the holy demands of God for the sinner and to free the sinner from just condemnation.
We believe the church of God refers, not the membership of organized churches, but to the whole company of the redeemed who will have been saved in the present age.
We believe in the church ordinances of water baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper as a visible representation of the good news of the death of Christ for our sins.
We believe unquestionably in the resurrection of Christ as a doctrine of central importance upon which all Christian's faith and hope rest.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ will come again to Earth personally and visibly, to establish His kingdom and fulfill God's eternal plan for creation.

goals
Small Groups are the center for caring and evangelism. The small group is foundational rather than optional to the life of our church; a willingness to become known by others. we are a very "relational" church and highly value being of a family.
To facilitate ministry ministry of the Holy Spirit to bring healing and forgiveness to the heart, resulting in the transformation of people's lives and the lost finding salvation in Jesus Christ.
To continue to find avenues to care for the needy in our community in a personal, one on one basis; not institutional. Going heart to heart.
To be clear and meaningful expression of His love and power to the youth in our community.
To be a resource to pastors and the greater body of Christ in our community, and facilitate unity among the churches.
